In trhe 60's, 70's and 80's two of my Ships visited Austarlia and I have lots of memories of working with them at sea, in Sydney and in Freemantle (Garden Island is the base in both places). During my recent visit I took these photos which will remind anyone who was there of those days.

Sydney Dockyard - Garden Island Dockyard, we usually tied up here RAN ships alongside for Christmas leave

Darling Harbour, home of the Australian Maritime Museum Ships of the museum HMAS Vampire, a familier ship from those days. I remember doing Radar calibrations with her.

Hary de Wheels - we used to get pie and mushy peas here on the way back onboard after a night out. Good to see its still going - if only for the tourists Its not me in the picture!!
